Miami Bakehouse Celebrates 11 Medals at the 2026 Great Aussie Pie Competition

The Great Aussie Pie Competition continues to celebrate the very best of Australia’s pie and pastry makers, recognising excellence across traditional favourites, gourmet creations, sausage rolls and pasties.

In 2026, Miami Bakehouse is thrilled to have once again been recognised among Australia’s best, taking home an incredible 11 medals across our entries.

11 Awards Across Our Favourite Pie & Pastry Creations

This year, Miami Bakehouse was awarded Five Gold Medals and Six Silver Medals, celebrating a delicious mix of classic recipes and creative flavours.

Our Gold Medal-winning creations were:

• Plain Sausage Roll

• Spinach & Ricotta Sausage Roll

• Apple & Raspberry Pie

• Apple & Rhubarb Pie

• Meat Pastie

Our Silver Medal-winning creations were:

• Chunky Meat Pie

Celebrating Classic Favourites & Creative Flavours

From our classic Plain Sausage Roll and Chunky Meat Pie to adventurous flavours like Garlic Prawn, Lamb Rogan Josh and Thai Yellow Beef, these awards reflect the passion and creativity that goes into every recipe at Miami Bakehouse.

Our Gold Medal wins for Apple & Raspberry Pie and Apple & Rhubarb Pie also showcase our love of combining beautiful pastry with delicious seasonal fruit flavours.

And, of course, there’s something very special about seeing our Meat Pastie and sausage rolls recognised alongside our gourmet creations - proving that both traditional favourites and innovative flavours have a place on the Australian pie stage.
