Breakfast, Coffee and a Quiet Table: A Local Guide to the Miami Bakehouse Cafes
While we're well known for our award-winning pies, there's much more to discover at Miami. Every one of our five Western Australian bakehouses is also a sit-down cafe, with a coffee machine, a breakfast menu and somewhere to rest your elbows.
If you have been driving past for years on your way somewhere else, this is a guide to stopping.
The Same Coffee at Every Store
Our coffee is a custom blend of 100% Arabica beans, sourced from Cuba, Guatemala and Papua New Guinea. It is extracted on handcrafted La Marzocco machines, which are the same machines you find in specialist city cafes, and our trained baristas are dedicated to preparing quality coffee - and the positive feedback from our customers speaks for itself. More about it is on our barista coffee page.
Fresh Breakfast Menu
There is something special about breakfast at Miami Bakehouse, especially when you can enjoy bread baked on site that morning. Toast made from a loaf baked a few metres away is a different thing from toast made from a loaf that arrived on a truck.
Breakfast runs from the simple end, which is good bread and good coffee, through to a cooked plate if you have a day ahead of you. The pastry cabinet is also open at breakfast time, which is either a feature or a problem depending on your week.
To explore our current selection, the breakfast and all day menu is the place to check, with options that may vary seasonally.
Lunch, and the Long Middle of the Day
The quietest and best time in any of our cafes is the stretch after the morning rush and before school pick-up. Lunch is where the savoury cabinet becomes popular and it is also when you can - usually - get a table without planning for it.
Our lunch options sit alongside the gourmet pies and savouries range, perfect for enjoying in-store or takking away.
Five Cafes, Five Locations
Each of our five cafes is different because of where it is.
Mandurah. Conveniently located next to Gilberts, a favourite with locals, whether they're stopping in for breakfast, enjoying a coffee while shopping or picking up an afternoon treat. Mandurah cafe details.
Falcon. A proper bakery cafe in the quiet suburbs, for locals and early risers. Falcon cafe details.
West Pinjarra - both Northbound and Southbound. Two separate bakehouses on the Forrest Highway, one on each side. This confuses people constantly, so it is worth being plain about it: you cannot reach the other one without a significant detour, so pick the side you are already travelling on. Both are shopfronts serving a shared eating area, and at both locations we are the only place serving barista-made coffee. Either one is the obvious break on a run between Perth and the South West. Northbound and Southbound.
Myalup. Our Myalup store is the perfect place to take a break on your journey, featuring an enclosed outdoor area for children, seating, restroom facilities and the unique KangaART installations. Myalup cafe details.
Groups and Coaches Welcome
We welcome larger groups and coach tours at our Miami Bakehouse locations. For larger groups, we recommend contacting the store ahead of your visit (the numbers are on the store pages above), so our team can help prepare for your arrival and ensure a great selection is available. Planned an event or office gathering? Explore our catering page.
Opening hours may vary between locations, so we recommend checking your chosen cafes opening hours before visiting. Explore all five on our find us page.
