As we lead into the summer season and our business continues to expand, so does our food preparation team. Working at our award-winning Head Bakery in Mandurah, we are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic team players for these dynamic, fast paced roles.

About the roles:

FOOD PREPERATION SUPERVISOR

Full time position (38 hrs /wk), between the hours of approx 8am – 4pm

Cleaning takes place at 5am on a Monday or Thursday, prior to starting the food preparation.

Usually 5 days / week across Monday to Sunday

Salary $52, 000 - $55,000 + Super

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Working alongside your team preparing a high volume of gourmet café foods / ingredients and maintaining cleanliness of the bakery.

  • Stock control and ordering, ensuring product and prepared ingredient levels are maintained

  • Effective management of your team and labour costs

  • Oversee and reduce waste

  • Ensure food preparation and presentation is a consistently high quality

  • Ensure procedures and systems are up to date and followed

  • Develop and implement new menu items with recipes and accurate costings

 

You will be a passionate and energetic individual with leadership experience in a fast-paced kitchen or similar. With high standards for food preparation and productivity you will have the ability to build a team that is focused on quality and consistency. You must have exceptional attention to detail and be highly organised to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.  

 

FOOD PREPERATION ASSISTANT

Part time position (20-35 hrs/wk) 7am – 4pm across Monday to Saturday

Starting salary $23/hr (M-F), $28.24 (Sat-Sun)

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with preparation, cooking and baking of our gourmet savoury products

  • Following set recipes and methods

  • Assisting in various kitchen operations

  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with food safety standards

 

No experience required, full training is provided, however you must have a ‘’can do’’ attitude and be physically fit and motivated to work.
