The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to be an integral part of our team. Reporting to the Production Manager you will supervise the day-to-day operations of your department. This is a full-time hands-on role with a 5-day working week across Monday to Sunday. This role will include weekends and public holidays.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Leadership and day to day management of the production team

• Manage department performance to meet KPI's (labour and waste)

• Roster and coordinate staff (approx 10 staff)

• Production scheduling

• Quality control and waste manage

• Stock control and ordering

• Ensure food safety compliance

About You:

• 2+ years supervisory experience

• Food manufacturing/handling experience (baking qualification NOT required)

• Excellent ability to effectively lead a team and maintain a positive working environment

• Hands on approach to lead your team from the front

• Strong time management and decision-making skills

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and numeracy skills

• Highly Desirable: Understanding of sound manufacturing / production processes (5S / Lean etc.)
