Bakery Production Manager job in Mandurah and Peel Region

Miami Bakehouse has a rare and exciting position for a Production Manager to join the team. You will play a vital role in the day to day operations of the production bakery.

​

This is a full time position with a 5 day working week. This will include some weekends and public holidays as required. The bakery operates 7 days a week with a range of shift times within each day, between the hours of 7am and 11:30pm.

This is not an administrative office role. You will be hands on, working side by side with the production team. Previous bakery experience is not required.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coaching and motivating your team to meet KPI's

  • Production planning and coordinating

  • Managing labour costs including rostering and staff coordination

  • Managing waste

  • Responding positively and quickly to issues on the floor

  • Maintaining our high standards of quality

  • Ensuring OH & S policies and procedures are adhered to

  • Facilitating the innovation of new products

  • An accomplished and demonstrated leader

  • Extensive experience in a food manufacturing environment

  • Willingness to get involved and work alongside the team

  • A doer, not just a talker

  • A high energy and positive can-do attitude

  • Excellent communication, problem solving and team building skills

  • Ability to organise, plan and prioritise tasks

  • Innovation and creativity to produce industry leading products

  • Experience with principles of LEAN or a similar system (5S / Six Sigma etc.) would be advantageous
