Bakers Assistant - Kitchen Hand Job in Mandurah

Miami Bakehouse's production bakery operates across 7 days a week. Our Bakery Assistants are rostered between 20-30 hours per week on a rotating roster. Shift times will be between 8am and 4pm with one 6am start per week.

This is a hands on role which involves being on your feet for prolonged periods which requires you to move fast and have good energy and fitness. The role involves slicing and dicing of vegetables and fresh ingredients and making sandwiches, gourmet rolls, wraps, croissants and salads. The role will also involve general cleaning of worktops, utensils and equipment.

Previous experience in food preparation and food safety is highly regarded, although we are happy to train someone who is efficient, organised and willing to learn.

The successful applicant will have:

• Availability to work a range of days across Monday-Sunday inc w/e, school and p/hols.

• The ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

• Excellent communication and numeracy skills

• An energetic and positive work ethic

• Physical fitness to stand on your feet for extended periods and work at a fast pace

• Previous kitchen hand experience preferred, but not essential as full training is provided
