Miami Bakehouse are on the hunt for motivated and ambitious bakery apprentices to join the team in Greenfields, Western Australia. This is a combined apprenticeship in both Bread Baking and Pastrycooking.


About the Role

You will be mentored by experienced bakers and learn to hand make our delicious range of cakes, slices, savouries, biscuits and breads from scratch.

This is a full-time role and will include one day at Tafe each week.

Our apprentices bake during the day at Miami Bakehouse, so there are NO early morning or late graveyard shifts. Starting and finishing times will vary between the hours of 8am to 11pm.


About the Apprenticeship

Start a rewarding bakery career with a 3-year Baking Certificate III apprenticeship (FBP30517). Upon successful completion you will have a nationally recognized baking qualification and be highly skilled with excellent industry experience.  All the Tafe fees are paid for, plus you also get paid for your time while you are attending Tafe.


You will need:

  • Availability to work between 8am -11pm including weekends & public holidays

  • A positive attitude towards learning and taking instruction

  • Sound maths, literacy and communication skills

  • Reliable transport to get to and from the workplace and Tafe

  • Good level of fitness and stamina

  • An eye for detail and a positive ‘can do’ attitude
